Company News September 2007 Since July 1st, when WEEE became law in the UK, Re-Tek has seen a significant increase in the opportunities for IT and Business equipment buy-back throughout the UK and Europe. Users are now more aware of the need to reuse their IT assets rather than putting them for conventional recycling and this had lead to a substantial increase on the EEE that we have put back onto the market in the last two months

June 2007 As the WEEE Directive will become UK Law on July 1st 2007 Re-Tek have registered with the appropriate compliance schemes to ensure that your EEE and Excess IT equipment is handled properly. February 2007 Re-Tek will be opening a new sales office in Hong Kong in March 07 .This will complete our worldwide presence and will enable us to serve our clients in all major trading sectors.Details will follow soon. November 2006 Re-tek UK have completed their anticipated move and are now operating from new purpose built premises in East Kilbride. August 2006 Due to its success in the US market look out for Retekdirect, coming in the Autumn, bringing even more low cost IT hardware to the consumer, trade and spare parts market worldwide. Re-Tek UK will continue to service the growing need for computer recycling services in the Information Technology industry. May 2006 Re-Tek will be moving to new purpose built 20,000 square ft facility at East Kilbride in November 2006.This will help meet the demands Of the significant rise in business we have experienced in the last 18 months in the refurbishment of used IT, Telecom and other business equipment.
